  • First Responders

Resilience doesn’t mean being unaffected: it means knowing how to care for yourself while caring for others. First responders experience repeated exposure to stress and traumatic events that may lead to vicarious traumatization or secondary trauma for their families. In a culture that rewards being strong, tough, and keeping your emotions to yourself, therapy is confidential. I am here to listen and support you.

  • Events & Workshops

You are invited to join our resilient and enduring community for a variety of workshops and events. From our yoga book club, nutrition and yoga workshops to weekly yoga practices, you don’t need a flexible body to feel welcome and experience benefits. Through yoga movement and breath, connect to your body, your mind, and your true self. Yoga is not about the postures, the form or alignment. Yoga is how you feel inside.

  • Tikkun Olam

Wishing for a peaceful world? Wondering how to eliminate suffering, war, disease? Like the oxygen mask metaphor, we have to take care of ourselves before we can help others. Join our events and workshops designed to reduce suffering and create more love and compassion toward yourself and others. If you are a mental health professional wanting to make a difference, share your healing light, one person at a time: volunteer for the Tikva Line, a 24/7 hotline serving Oleh and Lone Soldiers.

  • Embrace a New Chapter

Are you a baby-boomer? Transitioning to or from retirement? Feeling uncertainty and unknowns? We are living in complicated times - losing trust and confidence in a changing world. I hear and understand your concerns. I accept Medicare and your secondary insurance. I am skilled in cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapies as well as mind-body practices. I am here to listen and support you as you embrace a new chapter.

  • Yoga Therapy

If talk therapy alone doesn’t give you what you need, have you considered yoga therapy? I am a licensed psychologist, registered yoga teacher, and a certified yoga therapist. I offer yoga therapy through The Happy Yogi in Rockville, Maryland. Yoga therapy is the yoga of self-discovery and draws from breath and movement. Yoga therapy takes you out of your head and into your body - the vehicle of change, allowing transformation from the inside out.

  • Yoga Experiences

Come and share your yoga practice with me at The Happy Yogi Cooperative on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30 - 10:45 am, both in person and virtually. Check out our amazing yoga space located at 2200 Baltimore Road, Rockville, 20851.
